Traps: internet slang originating from 4chan referring to the It's a trap meme! It's a dude who looks like a freaking chick and that by the time you realize it's too late...

Traps are on the rise, appearing both in anime, manga and video games! I'm sure you people already came across a few situations where you thought the character is a chick, but then later find out it's a dude right. Most renown traps include:

As I've said, it's on the rise. Traps has been gaining popularity during the past years and I've been noticing more and more of them. Manga and anime both bring out more of them. Where else does it come in to play? Well, real life.
